real estate project mgr – assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Project Manager to oversee and manage our upcoming real estate development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing real estate projects according to strict deadlines and within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the development team to develop project plans, resource allocation and timelines for successful project completion.
– Plan and manage project budgets, including tracking and reporting all expenses.
– Manage project risks, issues and changes in project scope, and report any changes in project status to the senior management in a timely manner.
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and local officials.
– Prepare project performance reports for senior management, and lead project reviews with the stakeholders.
– Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are obtained and up-to-date.
– Oversee the construction process, including monitoring project progress, managing quality control, and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
– Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
– Provide updates to clients on project progress, and ensure that all their concerns are addressed.
– Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
– Stay abreast of industry trends, standards and best practices to identify potential areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

– A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with a focus on real estate development projects.
– Experience with managing complex projects from planning through to completion.
– Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
– Proven problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes in project scope and timelines.
– Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety regulations.
– Experience with project management software and tools.
– Ability to work collaboratively with a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently as needed.
