Our company provides home inspection and related services to homeowners and people buying a home. We work regularly with Real Estate agents to help their clients obtain our services. This person will work alongside our OFS Office Manager to ensure the office operations are completed so the field operations can function without obstacles.
Primary responsibilities are to be the first point of contact for our company with the customer: Answering the phone, incoming SMS, and email. This position will require a working schedule of 40hrs/week during the hours of 8am-6pm Monday – Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday (Mountain Time- this will be a night position). Some email and SMS work on weekends and outside these hours. The schedule will be coordinated with the Office Manager and other office staff to ensure customer contacts are always handled in a timely manner. The main task will be to schedule inspections and services for the client for our team to perform. We do not do sales, but there is educating of our services and product that often occurs with the client. There are many details to gather and compile to ensure our inspectors can deliver our services as expected. Other tasks will include managing the schedule; evaluating the jobs booked to make sure scheduled job durations are sufficient, information is complete and accurate for the property type, distances to travel, services ordered, payments confirmed, and contracts signed, etc. This person will also be a primary point of contact in filtering incoming communications (non-scheduling related) from clients and team members to the appropriate party for resolution and in some cases getting client questions answered. Some days are very busy, and some are mild. April – Aug is much busier than Sept-March.
The ideal candidate will have excellent English (speaking and writing). Have an energetic and pleasant communication style. There are many details to learn about our operations, products and services, so this person must be a fast learner and eager to learn on their own. Must have reliable and backup sources of high-speed internet and a reliable laptop/computer; Must be available for team zoom calls several times a month. Must have a cellphone for installing the VoIP and SMS apps for managing communications with customers in a timely fashion. Previous experience with US Real Estate is very desirable. Previous call center, customer service, scheduling, booking experience preferred.
