As a Real Estate Skip Tracer at Convergent REI, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, responsible for locating and gathering critical information on individuals, property owners, and stakeholders. Your role will be instrumental in supporting various real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, foreclosures, and property management. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong investigative skills and the ability to work within legal and ethical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Skip Tracing: Conduct thorough skip tracing activities to locate property owners, heirs, tenants, and other relevant individuals for real estate transactions.
Database Research: Utilize advanced databases, online resources, and public records to collect accurate and up-to-date information on property owners and related parties.
Document Verification: Verify the accuracy and authenticity of documents, titles, and ownership records associated with properties.
Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, real estate agents, attorneys, and third-party agencies to gather required information and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records and reports of skip tracing efforts, findings, and outcomes.
Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations governing skip tracing activities and data privacy.
Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration with real estate agents, title companies, and legal professionals to facilitate seamless real estate transactions.
Problem Solving: Identify and proactively resolve challenges related to locating property owners and resolving ownership issues.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, laws, and regulations related to skip tracing and real estate.
Qualifications:
Equivalent experience in a related field.
Prior experience in real estate skip tracing or similar roles.
Proficiency in using advanced skip tracing tools, databases, and software.
Exceptional research and investigative skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of real estate terminology and processes.
