Acquisitions Analyst

Position Type: Part-Time with the potential for Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Acquisitions Analyst to join our real estate investment team. The Analyst will work closely with our investment team and will be responsible for supporting the underwriting of investment opportunities through various means, such as comparable sets, supply pipeline analyses, and other ground-level support methods.
Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for calling and emailing 3rd parties who we work with. This aspect of the job requires the individual to be organized, have excellent English (both written and oral), comfortable calling people, able to think critically and problem solve, and able to proactively following up on outstanding items.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the investment team in evaluating new investment opportunities.
• Perform financial modeling and analysis of potential acquisitions.
• Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate market trends and property performance.
• Analyze investment documents, including leases, rent rolls, and financial statements.
• Create and maintain property-level financial models.
• Make outbound phone calls.

Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English. Both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Has a strong understanding of numbers.
• Has a high level understanding of financial statements and understands the difference in revenues and expenses.
