Our Real Estate VA will mainly be working on ‘back of office’ tasks and helping to increase our flow of viable property deals. Excellent numerical, analytical and Microsoft Excel skills are essential. The role will involve searching for and analysing property deals. Some basic marketing work and contact with agents by phone will be necessary.
Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities would include:
1. Finding property deals by searching on the internet, contacting agents, direct mailing and searching on software such as Nimbus maps.
2. Analysing deals using our deal analyser tool in Microsoft Excel
3. Liaising with agents/ vendors
4. Creation of paperwork/ contracts
5. Basic management of social media accounts (posting, responding to comments etc.)
6. Inputting expenses onto Quick Books
7. Sending a daily report through email detailing completed and ongoing tasks
Required technical skills and experience
To qualify for the position, you will need at least one year’s experience in the following:
1. Real Estate related tasks
2. Microsoft Excel
Soft skills
It is important that our VA is:
• A faster learner and willing to learn
• Pays very close attention to detail
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Driven to succeed
You will need to have excellent data and analytical skills.
Basic skills
In addition to having excellent English skills, you will need to use the applications listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be familiar with most of them:
• Web research using search engines like Google
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Gmail and other email applications
• Google Docs, sheets and calendar
• Communication apps like Skype, WhatsApp and Facebook messenger
• Social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
• Project management software including Trello and Asana
• Time tracking software including TimeProof
• Canva
Desired technical skills and experience
We are looking for someone who can grow with us and in time help with our other business. You don’t have to have these skills but if you do it would be an advantage:
• Social media management including creating posts in Canva
• Blog writing/ proof-reading
• WordPress (as an admin, not a developer)
• Basic video editing
Work schedule and holidays
This part-time position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hours are flexible but we would need you to be available for at least 1 hour per day (between 9am and 5pm UK time).
After the 6 month probation period you will qualify for 12 days of holiday or sick pay per year (1 day per month), not accumulative for the following year.
All UK bank holidays will be paid.
Salary
$400/ month ($5/ hour)
Perks and benefits
Once you have completed your 6-month probation, you will get:
• 13th-month bonus paid in December (pro-rata).
• We are in the process of setting up annual targets so that our VA will have the opportunity to get an additional 5% to 10% of their full year salary.
Training provided
If accepted, you will be provided with the following training:
• How to use software (i.e. Nimbus maps) to find property deals
• How to analyse property deals using our deal analyser tool
• Social media management to help with managing social media accounts
• How to use Canva to help with creating social media posts/ other documents
• How to use QuickBooks to help us keep track of receipts and expenses
Career potential
You will be working with the Owners of the company. As our businesses grow it is likely that this role will become full-time. There is a chance that if the businesses grow to the point where we need to hire additional VA’s you may have the opportunity to manage your own team of VA’s.
