Job Description

Bookkeeping and Accounting:
-Accurately record and maintain financial transactions using QuickBooks.
-Categorize income and expenses related to real estate transactions, rentals, and property management.
-Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly to ensure accuracy.
-Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
-Expense Tracking and Vendor Management:
-Monitor and record all property-related expenses, including utilities, maintenance, and property taxes.
-Manage vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
-Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors when necessary.
Tax Preparation and Compliance:
-Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate tax filings when needed
-Maintain records required for tax compliance, such as 1099 forms for contractors and property-related deductions.
Document Management:
-Organize and maintain digital and physical copies of financial documents, contracts, and agreements.
-Ensure documents are easily accessible to the real estate team and management.
Communication and Reporting:
-Effectively communicate financial information to team members and stakeholders.
-Generate regular financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators.
Record Keeping and Data Entry:
-Ensure all real estate transactions are accurately recorded, including property sales, purchases, and rentals.
-Maintain a comprehensive database of property and financial information.
Administrative Support:
-Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including events scheduling, email management, and document preparation.
COMPENSATION:
-will start with 3.50 USD but will definitely increase depending on your performance
REQUIREMENTS
-basic knowledge and experience in real estate bookkeeping and accounting
-Knowledge of real estate financial principles and practices is a plus but not required
-Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
-Proficiency in using QuickBooks software and other relevant accounting tools.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
-Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax preparation is a plus but not required
-Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Can speak Spanish is a huge advantage
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
-High level of discretion and professionalism when handling financial information.
-Proactive enough to raise concerns/challenges that arise within the role
