Winding Brook Properties specializes in the acquisition of vacant land for resale. Our core business revolves around mailing thousands of purchase offers to landowners each month. To ensure accurate pricing of these offers, we require a reliable estimate of the current market value for each property. We are seeking a dedicated Valuation Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Valuation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our company’s operations. Your primary responsibility will be to estimate the market value of parcels in a list provided to you. We will do live training with you to teach you methods to maximize efficiency and accuracy. Initially, you will aim to deliver a minimum of 1000 estimated values per week, with the expectation to increase this output as you gain experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze property information provided in spreadsheets.
• Independently estimate the current market value of parcels based on available data sources.
• Deliver accurate and timely valuation estimates.
• Maintain a high level of data accuracy and consistency.
• Continuously improve valuation techniques and knowledge.
• Manage and organize assigned lists for valuation.
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving valuation methods.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
• Previous experience in real estate or land valuation is a plus but not required.
Training and Work Schedule:
• Comprehensive hands-on training will be provided initially.
• After training, you will have the flexibility to set your own work schedule, as long as you meet weekly productivity targets.
• Timely and quality work is essential.
