Real Estate Video Editor

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Editing of both Real Estate and Corporate video projects
– Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
– Incorporate music, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance video appeal
– Develop creative concepts for property videos to differentiate our listings in the market
– Communicate effectively to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to video content
– Stay updated on industry trends and innovative video editing techniques to continually improve content quality
– Edit social media video content for OneLook internal projects and its clients
– Organize and delegate editing of Real Estate video projects
– Participate in weekly meetings with Manager of Operations
– Utilize OneLook Project Management software to guide projects through the various project stages
– Continually track # of projects worked on and document the time spent on each project in order to allocate and track quoted vs. actual hours spent on editing
– Stay within allotted editing timeframe quoted to maintain profitability on projects
– Report to management on KPIs related to video editing
– Lead the creative direction of OneLook’s video editing style
– Maintain the high quality video edits clients have come to expect
– Deliver projects within the time frames allotted, maintaining a 98% on-time/early delivery standard
– Develop systems and processes to enhance efficiencies of the department, profitability and company overall
– File management (RAW files, archives, completed files, stock video files, client video end plates, OneLook Branded Content templates)
– Through continual self-improvement, become an integral part of the OneLook team
– Be involved in creative ideas for marketing OneLook services
– Other related duties as assigned

Required Meetings: Friday mornings at 9AM for a weekly team meeting

Hard Skills Required:
– Proficient in Final Cut 10 and Adobe Premiere Pro
– File management, processes
– Colour grading
– Audio EQ
– Keen eye for detail and getting “the” shot (composition)
– Ability to use motion graphics as needed
– Organized and efficient
– Ability to follow and develop systems and processes
– Understand the basics of audio editing
– Excels at story telling through video
