Job Description

Your job will be to record tutorials presenting how to use business software (for example project management apps). However, it’s not required to have knowledge of how any particular application works – I’m looking for someone who will be able to explain well and has good speaking abilities (advanced English level, clear speaking, engaging tone of voice). You will learn how the specific applications work during paid hours.
Job description
I’m building a YouTube channel focused on business software. The content will mostly consist of tutorials explaining how to use various software, and I’m looking for someone to record these tutorials. (It won’t be necessary to show your face, although it’s welcome if you’re comfortable with that.) The applications you’ll be recording about are mainly project management tools, CRM systems, and automation applications. (All these applications are relatively simple to use, requiring no advanced technical skills, but you will need basic skills in using software/computer and a basic understanding of how software generally works.)
We will record the videos in series, for example, 15 videos about one app, 15 about another, etc. For each series, I will provide you with educational materials about the software. This will help you understand how to use the program, give you a general idea of how it works, and familiarize you with the essential elements and features of the program. Then, I will give you a list of topics related to the software to record. (An example topic could be how to set up recurring tasks in the software.) Your task will be to find information on each of these topics, record your computer screen showing how to do it, and simultaneously record your voice explaining the process. You won’t need to show your face, but there is a need to have:
– the ability to explain something in a clear way,
– a clear and engaging speaking style,
– English proficiency at an advanced level
I assume that at the beginning, it might be difficult for you to record a whole tutorial in one go. Likely, there will be parts where you might make mistakes and will need repeat given parts, so after recording everything, you will need to combine all the recorded parts into one complete tutorial. To do this, you will need to use video editing software. However, you don’t need to know anything about video editing – combining several video clips together is a simple enough process that I can guide you through it step by step, enabling you to do it on your own. Important: if you want to apply in the first line of your message write the word “dashboard”, so I will know you read the job description.
Requirements
-Advanced English level
-Good speaking skills, clear diction
-Engaging speaking style
-Ability to explain something in a clear way
-Basic skills in using software/computer
Rate
8$ / hour
How to apply?
– Send me a few words about yourself and what you have been doing so far.
– Watch the video titled “The hierarchy | tutorials” on YouTube (video is posted on the official Monday application channel). Based on the information from this video, record a voice sample in which you explain the Monday hierarchy in your own words.
– If the sample sent is good enough, I will hire you to make the first test tutorial. If everything is ok, we will continue the collaboration (of course, I will pay you for the hours spent on this first tutorial).
