Our firm has a new opportunity for a remote p/t assistant recruiter. The ideal candidate will assist with full life cycle recruiting procedures in coordination.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create position listings in coordination with the recruiting team and hiring managers that align with company policies and procedures and U.S. Federal and state regulations.
• Posts listings to designated external job boards and social media sites.
• Source, attract, identify, pre-screen, phone screen, evaluate (review skills, experience, education, qualifications, etc. in relation to the job requirements) and recommend qualified candidates to fill open positions.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate and participate in career fairs.
• Guide applicants through the process of applying for specific job openings on the Company career website; conduct employment reference and background checks.
• Maintains the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) candidate records; Provide accurate and timely disposition updates to applicants/candidates in the ATS in coordination with the recruiting team and hiring managers and provides tracking reports.
• Maintain all recruitment files to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations.
• Using Excel, track and record all company recruiting and onboarding activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
• Must demonstrate proficiency in English – spoken and written as well as the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
• High School diploma with 2 years of related experience in HR
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as standard applicant tracking systems
• Must be highly motivated and possess excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Able to work on Eastern Standard Time.
• Must understand U.S. employment standards and practices.
• Reliable and fast internet connection
• Note this is an on call as needed position with the opportunity to become full-time.
