Role: Virtual Assistant for Full Desk Recruitment Support

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our freelance recruitment team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support throughout the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to setting up interviews and presenting qualified candidates to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Job Posting and Candidate Sourcing:
– Add new job openings to the applicant tracking system (ATS), Pyjamahr.
– Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
– Utilize advanced sourcing techniques and Boolean searches to identify relevant candidates for healthcare and technology roles.
2. Resume Review and Screening:
– Review resumes and applications as they come in, assessing candidates’ qualifications against job requirements.
– Conduct initial screenings via email or text to gauge candidate interest and gather additional information.
3. Pre-screening Interviews:
– Schedule and conduct pre-screening interviews (via phone or video) with qualified candidates.
– Assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit during the pre-screening process.
– Prepare detailed notes and evaluations on each candidate’s suitability for the role.
4. Candidate Presentation and Submission:
– Identify top candidates and present their profiles, including resumes and pre-screening notes.
– Provide a detailed rationale for why each candidate is the best fit for the role.
– Submit qualified candidates to the hiring manager for further consideration.
5. Interview Coordination:
– Assist in scheduling interviews between clients and shortlisted candidates.
– Ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the interview process.
6. Client and Candidate Communication:
– Respond to client and candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
– Handle phone calls and provide updates on the recruitment process as needed.
7. Data Management and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate records of candidate information, job requirements, and recruitment activities in the ATS.
– Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and progress.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in healthcare or technology industries.
– Strong understanding of the full recruitment life cycle and best practices.
– Excellent sourcing and screening skills, with the ability to identify top talent.
– Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), specifically Pyjamahr.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
– Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
– Familiarity with virtual communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, instant messaging).
