Job Description

We are a leading Australian tax accounting firm seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to endorsing top candidates for various positions within our organization. This role will require a high level of resourcefulness and demonstrated experience in sourcing, testing, and endorsing top candidates for a wide range of positions.

The role will require a top-down hiring approach, with the main focus on recruiting a manager and then working down. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for making the ‘magic’ happen and finding the hard-to-find talent for our Tax Team Manager, as then delivering on the recruitment of other positions within our organization to support the Manager.

Our initial 90 day goal is to bring on a number of positions (5+) to the team, starting with our prospective Manager, and we are seeking a Recruitment Specialist who can help us achieve this goal. Is that you?

Responsibilities:

– Source, attract, and hire top candidates for various positions within our organization, with a main focus on managerial roles
– Use creative and out-of-the-box recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent in the current Philippine marketplace
– Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and ensure timely and effective hiring
– Conduct thorough screening and testing of candidates to ensure they meet the required skills and qualifications for the role
– Use a data-driven approach to identify top candidates and make data-backed recommendations to hiring managers
– Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
– Provide timely and accurate reports on recruitment activities and progress to management
– Stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve recruitment processes

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, with a strong focus on sourcing, testing, and endorsing candidates
– Experience in the Australian tax accounting sector would be advantageous
– Experience using a Topgrading recruitment process would be highly advantageous
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
– Highly resourceful, with the ability to use creative and out-of-the-box recruitment strategies to identify top talent
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively
– Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex processes
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

We understand that this is a freelance/contract role, and as such, we offer a flexible remuneration package based on a retainer fee and success bonus. The retainer fee will be paid on a regular (TBC) basis, while the success bonus will be paid upon successful placement of top candidates.
