To deliver our ambitions to positively transform how we provide Health Care & Life Science products and services, we are refining our Finance function and are now seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to provide financial support to the business, colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the business.

The is a critical role and one that will assist the Group Finance Controller with the day-to-day financial management of the organisation and will be involved in maintaining the financial procedures and systems, producing budgets and management accounts for a variety of legal entities, and ensuring accurate and timely financial recording in our financial MI.

Key Duties
Support the Group Financial Director by:
Assuming ownership, management and control of the financial activities relating to two of 2San’s European entities
Assuming responsibility for the daily financial management for both entities as well as;
Re-forecasting process
Financial planning & reporting
Payroll, pensions and expenses
Accounting compliance
Month end reviews
Business partnering
Process design, implementation, write and maintain standard operating procedures
Coordinating the daily work activities and line management of finance colleagues in the UK and PHP
Coordinating and contributing to ad hoc projects including accounting software migration and BC configuration in line with the global trading model ambition
Ensuring high-quality, timely and accurate financial reports with supporting analysis to aid effective decision-making across all levels of the business.
The Requirements
Technical Expertise
IATI, ACA, ACCA or CIMA part / fully qualified
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a startup or scale up environment.
AND
Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
Experience of payroll, pension and HRMC processing
Experience within a fast-paced and high energy environment
Excellent knowledge of standard finance processes, procedures, and systems.
Working knowledge of finance/accounting systems.
Strong professional versatility including switching between tasks and fulfilling varying work tasks.
An aptitude for executing business improvement initiatives.
Experience of troubleshooting problems and providing recommendations.
Ability to manipulate and present data and provide concise recommendations
Experience in a global business environment
IATI, ACA, ACCA or CIMA fully qualified
Experience within the professional services sector.
Experience of EPOS or other related system
