Remote Certified Accountant

At Prosperity Tax, we are a dynamic and forward-thinking company that values innovation and remote work flexibility. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant who can excel in a remote work environment while delivering exceptional financial services to our clients.

In your day-to-day work, you will be responsible for:

? Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts , partnerships and SMSFs.
? Researching income tax matters and providing advice on partners.
? Completion of BAS, IAS and FBT returns.
Financials statement; profit and loss and balance sheets
Ledger accounts, with account adjustments
Preparing tax documents and sending to clients for signing
Reconciling bank accounts on Xero (from time to time)
? Applying basic and advanced tax compliance procedures.
? Working closely with the Directors.
? Building strong internal relationships.

Certified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Proven experience minimum 3 years as an accountant, preferably in a remote or virtual work setting.
Expertise in working with Quicken, MYOB, and Xero Accounting Systems.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
