Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Remote Colorist proficient in DaVinci Resolve to join our team. As a Remote Colorist, you will be responsible for enhancing the visual appeal of our clients’ video projects by applying color grading techniques to achieve the desired look and feel.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with our video production team and clients to understand project requirements and creative vision.
– Perform primary and secondary color corrections, matching shots, and balancing color tones to achieve consistency and visual coherence.
– Apply creative color grading techniques to enhance the overall aesthetic and emotional impact of video content.
– Ensure color accuracy and consistency across all deliverables, including web videos, brand documentaries, promotional videos, and more.
– Work efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
– Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address feedback and make necessary adjustments.
– Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software updates related to color grading and post-production.

Requirements:
– Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and a strong understanding of color grading principles and techniques.
– Proven experience as a colorist, with a portfolio showcasing your work in narrative, commercial, or documentary projects.
– Excellent eye for detail and a keen sense of aesthetics, with the ability to translate creative vision into visually compelling content.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
– Experience working with clients and incorporating feedback to achieve desired outcomes.
– Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for storytelling through color.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field.
– Previous experience working remotely or in a virtual production environment.
– Familiarity with other video editing software and post-production tools.
– Experience in motion graphics or visual effects is a plus.
