Job Description

We’re looking for a right-hand to the CEO for a growing social media agency.

The CEO of Sculpt is involved in all parts of the social media agency’s operations, especially sales and strategy. Sometimes, the work that falls on his plate is not essential, but it is urgent. Other times it is important but not urgent. Delegating is a challenge because every task has nuance.

That’s where you come in.

Help the CEO become more effective and efficient through miscellaneous one-time and recurring digital tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, accountable, diligent, and organized. They’re not waiting for perfect, step-by-step instructions to be presented. They’re also collaborative, working across the business as necessary to synthesize information for the CEO or communicate on his behalf. In some cases they’re writing the checklists, then completing them.

WHO I’M LOOKING FOR

– Proficient English communicator (comfortable talking, reading, and especially writing)
– 3+ years of experience working remotely for a US-based business owner or CEO
– Excellent with Slack, Gmail, Drive, Canva, Google Calendar, and especially Google Slides and Sheets
– Available for tasks/communication on US EST hours (9am – 5pm EST, Monday – Friday)

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks will be assigned and change over time as we develop a working relationship.

– Act as the pivotal force behind the CEO, optimizing their effectiveness by managing both urgent and important tasks across sales and strategy.
– Take ownership of a variety of tasks, from routine to complex, ensuring smooth operational flow and freeing the CEO to focus on critical business initiatives.
– Proactively identify opportunities for delegation and efficiently coordinate with team members across the company to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
– Categories of tasks include: slide deck creation, comms, research, note synthesis, taking first steps/actions, developing SOPs/checklists, followups over email/Slack
