We are looking for an Executive Assistant / Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team and provide top-notch administrative support and social media management to our executive leadership (CEO). As an Executive Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operations of our organization by coordinating schedules, managing information flow, and seamless communication between executives, team members, and external stakeholders.

How you’ll add value at Norther

Executive Assistant:
-Proactively manage, assess, and predict the day-to-day needs of the CEO to ensure they are prepared and organized for all internal and external meetings and events
-Seamlessly manage email coordination, calendar scheduling, travel, team meetups, expense reporting, and a wide variety of priorities for the CEO
-Use good judgment in setting work priorities, planning and organizing workload in the midst of interruptions and changing priorities
-Project manage a variety of professional and personal initiatives through self-motivation, clear communication, and complete follow-through
-Effective communication between executives and various departments to ensure information flows smoothly and efficiently
-Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
-Managing schedules and teams. Keep the Timesheet of each member of Norther updated, as this will be the basis for us to cross-check if they are sending the correct amount of invoice.
-Interview SMM Applicants and organise their records
-Serve as a key liaison between contractors and the CEO, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. In this capacity, you will not only address concerns but also highlight the achievements and successes of our contractor partnerships.
-Create job posts whenever we need to hire someone new to Norther, facilitate the interviews, respond to the applicants and coordinate with Dany, who is the potential applicant, to continue to the initial interview, final interview and job onboarding.

Social Media Management:
-Create content daily for the brand – to educate, encourage growth and engagement within our community. 
-Proficient in creating epic content, including IG reels, photos. 
-You think outside of the box, with ideas being produced as it comes to mind. 
-Taking initiative to get things done, without needing permission or to be asked.
-Creating content & adapting to be relevant to all platforms
-Developing and implementing social strategies to match the ever-changing social media marketing world. 
-Experience in scheduling and planning social content in advance
-Willingness to learn and grow within the social media / content creation industry, with growth opportunities available. 
-Ability to identify new trends before they even hit, adapting to be relevant to all platforms and our business.

Time commitment
-40+ hours per week
-Work hours: Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM-4:00/6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time USA with a 1-hour lunch break
-100% focused on our business – no side jobs

Experience:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience working remotely for a company in the USA on USA time schedule
-Minimum of 2 years working as an Admin Assistant, Executive Assistant, Documents Control, Records Management
-Experience with tools needed to work remotely
-General – Google Sheets/Docs
-Project Management tools – Slack
-Cloud file systems – Google Docs
-Medium – strong design skills with Adobe and Canva
-Experience with social media scheduling
-Confident in creating content with intention and purpose
