AGM Technology, a Managed Technology Service provider with government and commercial clients across Australia, is seeking a full-time Accountant/Billing Admin to join our growing team. This role involves managing all business financial matters, including billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, job costing, payroll, and other related tasks such as managing vendors, billing scheduling, and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing and Invoicing:
• Verifying accuracy of billing data and correcting errors.
• Creating invoices and other agreements, including calculation of credit terms, shipping charges, discounts, and costs of services as per contracts.
Bookkeeping:
• Entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents for purchased items or rendered services.
Vendor Management:
• Communicating with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain, verify, and update information.
Office Administration:
• Initiating and designing new procedures for remote office administration and billing tasks.
• Ensuring insurance and corporate compliance and renewals are on time.
• Managing emails, documents, and schedules.
• Updating and maintaining records of expenditures.
Payment Management:
• Verifying invoice accuracy before sending payments.
• Responding to vendor invoices and statements.
• Ensuring payments are made and sent on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes.
• Submitting certified payroll sheets to the government monthly in PDF format with a coversheet and invoice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Requirements :
• Must have experience working with Australian companies.
• Must have experience with Xero accounting software.
• Experience in Australian tax preparation (BAS, GST, Payroll).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, VBA , Macro Creation.
Skills:
• Excellent understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Advanced MS Excel Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to generate payroll reports.
• Proactive with problem-solving skills.
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or vocational school training in accounting, finance, or payroll accounting preferred.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work Australian Eastern Time Zone hours (40 hours a week with occasional overtime).
• Ability to work on Microsoft Teams, including frequent voice, video, and chat sessions during business hours.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Quiet working environment without background noise (traffic, pets, small children).
Terms and Compensation:
• Salary: 42,500 PHP to 54,500 PHP per month (negotiable based on experience and certifications).
• Hours: 40 hours a week.
• Benefits: Bonuses and benefits available.
