Job Description:
As the Remote HR Specialist at Inflight, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting our team of 50 employees. You will be responsible for managing the entire HR function, including recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Additionally, you will handle payroll and benefits onboarding using Gusto, ensuring a seamless experience for our team members. Your goal will be to ensure that our HR processes are efficient, compliant, and supportive of our company’s growth and the well-being of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
– Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
– Search resume databases, portfolio sites, and contact industry professionals to ask for referrals.
– Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
– Maintain candidate databases.
– Screen applications, select qualified candidates, and schedule interviews.
– Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers.
– Negotiate terms of hire with potential candidates.
– Prepare and present time-to-hire and other recruiting reports for the management team.
– Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
General HR Duties:
– Assist with employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
– Maintain and update HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
– Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
– Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
– Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR duties as needed.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
– Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
– Experience with Gusto payroll and benefits onboarding is preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Must have English language proficiency.

Benefits: Work Hours & Benefits
– Monday – Friday – 8am – 5pm
– Full-time – Can work on own timezone but needs to be able to work CST as needed.
