Job Description

Seeking staff accountant with 5+ years of experience in double-entry accounting experience. Must hold degree in accounting and have 2+ years of recent and verifiable accounting experience. Looking for a highly skilled accountant! Must be able to communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken). Must have a Windows 10 or higher PC with dual-monitors.

Tasks:
• You will work using Remote Desktop (RDP) on a server and performing accounting for multiple clients under the direction of a US CPA in Quickbooks Desktop.
• You will collaborate with other team members globally including delegating data-entry tasks.
• You will manage specific Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable tasks using for various clients.
•You will collaborate and delegate tasks to other team members.
You will communicate with clients in English, using our approved templates.
You must be willing to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM US Central Standard Time (1 hour break).
Looking for a candidate who can commit ONLY to the position who is NOT freelancing or working part-time for another employer.

The fully qualified candidate must have the following experience and attributes:
• Proficiency in double entry accounting including proficiency in adjusting entries
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience working with QuickBooks or equivalent modern accounting system
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, reconciliations, etc.)
• Outgoing, positive, energetic person with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to deal with demanding clients with constantly shifting priorities.
• Ability to keep confidential highly sensitive company plans and data.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to handle multiple priorities.
• Extremely tech savvy-capable of mastering new hardware and software quickly and easily.
• Consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.
• Work independently to complete assignments while knowing when to escalate issues and ask questions.
• Willingness to tackle unfamiliar tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Note: This is a remote job. You will be required to:
Communicate extensively!
Complete an accurate timesheet in excel as you work (google doc)
You will need to install an application that takes screen shots of your PC while you work
You must communicate throughout the day via WhatsApp
