Remote Inventory Buyer

**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a results-driven and financially savvy Remote Inventory Buyer to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking from various suppliers, and maintaining healthy cash flow for the company. This is a remote position based in the Philippines, offering the opportunity to work independently while staying in regular communication with the team.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Inventory Management:**
– Monitor and analyze inventory levels for each product in our extensive catalog.
– Utilize inventory management tools (including Excel) and systems to track stock levels, sales trends, and demand forecasts.
– Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

2. **Financial Acumen:**
– Analyze and interpret financial data related to inventory, sales, and cash flow.
– Make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory levels while managing cash flow effectively.
– Work closely with the me to ensure budget adherence and maximize profitability.
– Recover funds for damaged or missing inventory from Suppliers

3. **Communication and Reporting:**
– Provide regular updates on inventory status, supplier performance, and any potential issues.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

**Qualifications:**
– Proven experience in inventory management and procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
– Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
– Proficient in using inventory management tools and software.
– Intermediate to Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Please write “Excel Magician” in the title if you are interested and replying to this job post.
– Familiarity with Amazon marketplace and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

This is an ever-changing role where tasks can be added and decreased based on your skills within a typical 40 hour work week. Work hours are a bit flexible. Ideally, you will work 7pm until 10-12pm (Philippine time) then work 1-2 hours in the morning. A few hours on Saturday may also be required (No Sundays)
