King Arthur’s Transportation Support Services LLC is an American small, family-owned and operated independent truck dispatching company committed to the continued growth and success of our carriers.

Our company is currently looking for a Remote Operations Manager / Assistant Administrator. We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic LEADER to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management skills, business acumen, and LEADERSHIP traits to drive our practice’s continued growth and success. As the Operations Manager / Assistant Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations while ensuring the highest level of service delivered to our carriers.

The role is accountable for the development, implementation, and maintenance of process and operational excellence across the organization. You will be leading a team, sending direct reports and virtually manage company resources to develop and implement programs and processes that will drive quality, consistency, simplification, and efficiency across all of our company’s solutions and delivery functions.

You MUST also be able to work given flexible work shift! Work shift timezone is for the United States Eastern Time. You’d work Monday-Friday (Eastern Time) each week. First part of work shift is 7AM–10AM, then second part of your shift that day would be 4PM-8PM. 1 hour of unpaid lunch included for shift.

Required Qualifications:

– At least 2 years of experience as a manager directly responsible for business operations
– At least 2 years experience as an administrator
– Able to execute the vision of the practice owner by bringing together all aspects of the business. They should have the ability to understand, interpret and implement the strategic direction of the practice.
– Comfortable working with processes and have a track record of establishing and optimizing processes that drive efficiencies, productivity, and profitability.
– Track record of delivering measurable results in a high-performance environment. They should be able to identify KPIs, measure performance against those KPIs, and be accountable for achieving those targets.
– Experience with strategic planning, including developing and executing long-term business plans, and setting goals and objectives that align with the practice’s vision.
– Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle management, and cost control.
– Must demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and influence others as well as experience identifying and developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, referral partners, and industry associations.
– Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective written and spoken communication skills are absolutely critical. Fluency in English is required (other regional languages a plus).
– Ability to manage change effectively, including communicating changes, identifying potential challenges, and implementing strategies to mitigate risk.

Work Hours / Schedule Available For Position:

– There is a tentative start date for Monday, May 22, 2023, Eastern Time. It will be a full-time role:

– Shift #: Monday-Friday. The shift would start at 7AM–10AM, then the latter portion of the shift would take place from 4PM-8PM Eastern Time. It is a Full-Time (40 hrs) position and includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Duties & Responsibilities:

– Ability to speak and write in English is a MUST, as clientele is US-based.
– Ability to work alone and independently
– Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all staff, including onboarding, job-specific training, and professional development opportunities.
– Oversee training for new employees to help them prepare for their first week.
– Facilitate new employee orientation sessions and train employees on internal tools and platforms: Google Workspace / G-Suite platform, Basecamp/Trello, Slack, RingCentral, etc.
– Support routine HR tasks required to administer and execute HR functions, including but not limited to record management, compensation administration, benefits administration, employee engagement and morale, and employee recognition.
– Oversee staff by planning, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating work performed by assigned staff.
– Review and update existing policies / procedures and develop new policies to reflect current operations.
– Identify areas that may benefit from process improvement and make recommendation to the management.
– Develop, implement, and improve the business operations, including activities such as: new carrier onboarding and freight broker outreach.
– Support and implement training for company staff.
– Serve as backup and manage company projects in times when the project management staff is not operating at full capacity.
– Leads, manages and holds the staff and leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
– Identifying and addressing any operational or strategic issues that arise effectively – seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the cause, and solving the issue in a practical and healthy manner.
– Ensures that everyone is truly following the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency.
– Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization. Inherently ensures that everyone is in the know.
– Help conducts and assist with interviews for new team members and onboarding staff.
