About Us: Wentwood Asset Management is an asset management company specializing in the management of non-performing loans. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the successful management of collateral and asset-related processes, including foreclosure, bankruptcy etc. in a remote work environment.

Position Overview: As an Operations Specialist focused on collateral and asset management, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to the management of assets, foreclosure, and bankruptcy processes etc. all while working remotely. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering top-notch services to our clients, no matter where you’re located. No prior exposure is required and all training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure proper organization of collateral assets.
• Monitor and manage foreclosure cases, ensuring they progress according to established timelines.
• Collaborate with legal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate foreclosure actions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to foreclosure proceedings.
• Conduct regular checks on bankruptcy status for relevant loans.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to bankruptcy regulations.
• Manage bankruptcy-related correspondence and documentation.
• Maintain reports on collateral, foreclosure, and bankruptcy status for management and clients.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, including law firms, appraisal firms, and vendors, while working remotely.
• Provide timely updates and responses to inquiries related to collateral, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters.
• Provide ongoing reporting, ensuring follow-up from beginning to end of each file

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in foreclosure management, bankruptcy status checks, or related roles is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and excel in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency in MS office and outlook.
