Key Responsibilities:
As a Remote Part-Time Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include:
Expense Management: Accurately record and categorize all company expenses, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Payments: Handle timely payment processing, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other financial disbursements.
Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Bank Reconciliation: Ensure that bank and credit card statements reconcile with company records.
Budget Monitoring: Assist in budget creation and monitor financial performance against budgetary goals.
Tax Compliance: Collaborate with our tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
2+ years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in popular platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A self-starter who can work independently and remotely.
Previous experience in remote work or working with international teams is a plus.
