Remote Part-Time Video Editor

Job Overview: We are looking for a creative Remote Part-Time Video Editor with graphic design skills and a passion for storytelling. You will edit various videos, ensuring high quality, and collaborate with our team to bring projects to life.

Responsibilities:
• Edit videos for social media, YouTube, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Trim footage and sequence films.
• Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Create rough and final cuts.
• Ensure smooth sequencing and project flow.
• Review scripts and raw materials to make shot decisions.
• Collaborate with the creative team on project requirements.
• Implement new editing technologies and best practices.
• Maintain an organized video asset library.
• Manage deadlines and multiple projects.

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.
• Experience with digital technology and editing software (e.g., Avid, Lightworks).
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
• Strong storytelling skills and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A degree in film studies or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Graphics design skills (optional)

Shift:
• Official: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm PST (4 hours/day for part-time)
• Onboarding: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm PST (2 days)
• Training: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm PST (2-6 days)
Compensation: USD $275 to $350
