Remote Patient Eligibility Verification Specialist

In this role, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient care by verifying insurance benefits efficiently and accurately. You’ll be responsible for communicating directly with patients and insurance companies to gather necessary information and keep patient records up-to-date.
This remote position offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities
-Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through various channels (web portals, phone calls)
-Analyze insurance plans to determine coverage details and exclusions
-Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information in our electronic health record system
-Proactively stay updated on relevant insurance guidelines and industry changes
-Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and insurance providers
-Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications
-At least 2 years of experience in healthcare insurance verification or a related field
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficient in computer applications, including web browsers and electronic health record systems (EHR)
-Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Requirements:
-For Laptop: 8th generation (8000 series) Core i5 or better; AMD Ryzen series processors
-For Desktop: Ryzen 5 3000 series and above. If Core i3 – 10th generation or higher.
-For Mac: Core i5 – 2017 or higher Core i7 – 2016 or higher (not recommended : Core i3)
-A suitable work-from-home space in the Philippines
-Internet connection: 25 Mbps minimum
