Job Description: Are you a talented and driven individual with a passion for procurement? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a dynamic and innovative company based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, seeking a Procurement Officer Support to join our expanding team.

You will play a vital role in strengthening our business’s relationship with suppliers and logistics partners across the globe. Your primary responsibilities will include handling shipping and product quotations with suppliers, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive connection and smooth communication with our management team. Additionally, you will be working collaboratively with the team to generate sales leads to our target market group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy:
– Develop and implement remote procurement strategies aligned with company goals, including sourcing and cost-saving initiatives.
– Evaluate and select suppliers and manage vendor relationships virtually.

• Purchase Management:
– Virtually oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
– Review and approve purchase orders and procurement requests.

• Cost Control:
– Monitor and analyze remote procurement expenses.
– Implement cost-effective measures without compromising quality.

• Supplier Management:
– Communication with vendors.
– Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and optimize partnerships.
– Coordinate functions like production, shipping and logistics.

• Quality Assurance:
– Ensure purchased items meet quality standards by implementing virtual quality control measures.
– Handle any quality-related issues with suppliers remotely.

• Documentation and Reporting:
– Work docket creation.
– Maintain organized records of procurement activities and invoices.
– Generate reports.

• Remote Collaboration:
– Collaborate effectively with various departments or teams through virtual meetings and communication tools.
– Facilitate remote cross-functional discussions to align on process improvements and project assignments.
– Assist making quotations for the sales team.
– Generate reports.
– General administrative duties.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role, with remote work capabilities, executive assistant experiences as an asset.
– Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, supplier evaluation.
– Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Excellent virtual communication and negotiation skills.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Work hours PST TIME: Sunday to Thursday – 4pm to 1am or 1am to 10am (both shifts in PST) . 1hour break unpaid
Payment method: WISE.
Training will be provided.
