Remote Real Estate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Real Estate Attorney to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate law in the United States and have expertise in reading contracts and redlining. As a Remote Real Estate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support to our clients in various real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
– Review and analyze real estate contracts, leases, agreements, and other legal documents pertaining to real estate transactions.
– Identify legal issues, potential risks, and opportunities for negotiation in contracts, and effectively communicate findings to clients.
– Conduct due diligence on real estate properties, including title searches, surveys, and zoning regulations.
– Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other professionals to facilitate smooth and legally sound real estate transactions.
– Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding real estate laws, regulations, and best practices.
– Assist in the negotiation and drafting of real estate contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements.
– Research and stay updated on changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
– Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including disputes, negotiations, and settlements.
– Conduct legal research and prepare legal memos, briefs, and opinions as needed.
– Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, transactions, and legal documents.

Requirements:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
– Active license to practice law in the United States.
– Proven experience as a Real Estate Attorney, preferably with remote work experience.
– In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, contracts, and regulations in the United States.
– Strong proficiency in contract analysis and redlining.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.
– Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with clients and colleagues remotely.
– Familiarity with real estate software and legal research databases.
– Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines.
