Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Real Estate Legal Specialist. While an active license to practice law in the United States is preferred, it is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will have a background as a paralegal with experience in real estate law. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world. As a Remote Real Estate Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our real estate business by reviewing contracts, conducting research, and providing legal assistance as needed.

Responsibilities:
– Review and analyze real estate contracts, leases, agreements, and other legal documents pertaining to real estate transactions.
-Identify legal issues, potential risks, and opportunities for negotiation in contracts, and effectively communicate findings to the appropriate parties.
-Conduct due diligence on real estate properties, including title searches, surveys, and zoning regulations.
-Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and other professionals to facilitate smooth and legally compliant real estate transactions.
-Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding real estate laws, regulations, and best practices.
-Assist in the negotiation and drafting of real estate contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements.
-Conduct legal research and prepare legal memos, briefs, and opinions as needed.
-Maintain accurate and organized records of legal documents and transactions.
-Stay updated on changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.

Requirements:
-Paralegal certification or a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a paralegal in a real estate law firm or department.
-Familiarity with real estate contracts, leases, and legal terminology.
-Understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex legal documents.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
-Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
-High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
-Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
