Job Description

The Sales Support – Trade and Estimator position is responsible for providing our sales team and customers with excellent sales support, enabling the smooth running of the quoting through to order process. The role is also responsible for lead generation, preparing marked up drawings, and quantifying products.

Skills and Requirements:

College degree or an equivalent level of training or experience
Relevant experience in a construction estimating or project management role, preferably in our markets and property types.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication & people skills.
Proven ability with Microsoft Office applications especially Outlook, Word & Excel
Experience with Blue Beam or an equivalent program.
Strong problem solving ability Able to understand architectural drawings

Key Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES SUPPORT 40%

Prepare quotations and send to Sales Rep for review, send to customer if required
Process orders and send order confirmation to Sales Rep or to client.
Ensure all details of jobs are accurate eg dispatch dates, and documents are saved in
share point project folders
Look up stock levels in Unleashed for quoting / order purposes.
Answer phone enquiries regarding customer support
Ensure customer service issues are recorded and resolved in a timely manner.
Be the conduit between clients and production to ensure jobs run smoothly with minimal
problems.
Assist Sales Reps with quote follow up and updating CRM potentials.

LEAD GENERATION 30%

Identify and quantify substitution opportunities for company products in our target markets via BTSL / Pacifecon websites.
Contact Main Contractor to gauge interest of potential substitution, if interest is there pass to Trade Sales and create potential in Zoho.
If no Main Contractor appointed, pass lead onto Specification Representative to follow up with the Architect.
Carry out QA checks on sales team lead follow up in CRM.
Reports monthly on leads submitted and followed up by rep

ESTIMATION AND MARK UP OF DRAWINGS 20%
Obtain drawings and specifications and complete accurate take-off.
Quantify specified products and or possible options for substitution of competitor products specifications.
100?curacy in take offs and quotations and ensure all documentation is saved into the appropriate Sharepoint Project Folders

OTHER DUTIES 10%
Follow all business procedures
Use Threads software to give regular feedback to fellow team members
Build positive relationships with Business Team members and clients demonstrating
company values and be an active and constructive team member
Actively develop knowledge of products, promote the product benefits and
become a trusted adviser for clients and colleagues
Any other tasks as requested by your Manager
