We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Web Developer with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience working with Laravel. As a Remote Web Developer, you will have the opportunity to work from home on a full-time basis, with occasional requirements to work in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) timezone for 3 days per week. You will be joining our team to contribute to the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of a rental inventory tracking software project. The software is already in an advanced stage of development, and the original developer will be available to provide assistance as needed.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate remotely with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
– Develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code using Laravel framework.
– Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the rental inventory tracking software.
– Troubleshoot and resolve any software defects or issues reported by users.
– Collaborate remotely with the UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
– Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
– Optimize application performance and scalability.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies relevant to Laravel.
– Assist in the documentation of software requirements, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
– Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in web development, with a focus on Laravel framework.
– Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
– Experience working with Laravel’s core features, such as Eloquent ORM, Blade templates, and artisan command-line interface.
– Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as or React is a plus.
– Good understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), code documentation, and testing methodologies.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
