Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Manage and execute procurement sourcing projects from initiation through to contract signing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
– Identify long list of potential vendors through research using Google, ThomasNet, chatGPT etc.
– Engage with potential vendors to qualify them, solicit and analyze quotes, and negotiate terms to secure the best value for the company.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and make recommendations based on vendor submissions.
– Maintain comprehensive records of communications, negotiations, and outcomes to inform future procurement strategies.
– Assist in the development and refinement of sourcing procedures and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
– Work within a broader operations team and collaborate effectively with a broad team spread between PH and the US.

Qualifications:
– Minimum 8 years of experience in sourcing, with at least 3 years specifically in manufacturing-related fields.
– Demonstrated ability to run successful sourcing projects, engage and qualify vendors, RfQ / RfP management, negotiate contracts, and recommend purchasing decisions.
– Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes and best practices.
– Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
– Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
– Proficient in using procurement software and tools to manage projects and vendor relationships.
– Independent and proactive in managing tasks and responsibilities in a remote work setting.

Requirements:
– Able to work flexible hours to ensure at least 3 hours overlap with NY working hours.
– Must have a suitable work-from-home environment in the Philippines with a reliable internet connection.
– Must provide own device for work, training and professional development.
– Positive attitude, with a high degree of professionalism and the ability to take initiative in a remote setting.
