We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of building’s structure and foundation. You will collaborate with architects, construction teams, and other engineers to develop innovative and efficient solutions that meet project requirements and adhere to building codes and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Structural Analysis and Design:** Conduct structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to determine the performance and stability of various structures under different loads and conditions. Design structural elements such as beams, columns, foundations, and connections to meet project specifications.

2. **Project Management:** Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through to completion. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.

3. **Code Compliance:** Stay up-to-date with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to structural engineering. Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes and obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies.

4. **Risk Assessment:** Identify potential risks and hazards associated with structural designs and propose mitigation strategies to minimize risk to life, property, and the environment.

5. **Collaboration:** Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and construction professionals, to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements and constraints.

6. **Technical Documentation:** Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents to communicate design intent, calculations, and recommendations to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

7. **Quality Assurance:** Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of structural designs to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements. Perform site inspections and assessments during construction to verify adherence to design specifications and standards.

**Qualifications:**

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
– Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure
– Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or
– Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients
– Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus
