Role and Responsibilities:
As a Remote Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online courses and educational content. Your responsibilities will include:
Editing and enhancing online course videos using Final Cut and Canva, ensuring a seamless and polished final product.
Incorporating graphics, animations, and other visual elements to create compelling and informative content.
Collaborating with our content creators and marketing engineers to understand project requirements and deliver on the creative vision.
Utilizing existing templates and design guidelines to maintain consistency across all course videos.
Editing and optimizing YouTube videos for our channel, maximizing their impact and appeal.
Managing and organizing the video library to ensure easy accessibility and efficient workflow.
Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our content.
Requirements:
Proven experience in video editing, preferably with expertise in Final Cut and Canva.
A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and creativity.
Proficiency in using various video and audio editing software and tools.
A keen eye for detail and an understanding of visual storytelling.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our remote team.
Ability to adhere to project deadlines and deliver consistently high-quality work.
Familiarity with online course platforms and YouTube content creation is a plus.
Terms and Compensation:
This is a remote position, and you will have the flexibility to work from your preferred location.
The workload will consist of 5-7 videos per week, subject to variations based on project demands.
Compensation will be commensurate with your experience and expertise.
