Job Description:
As a Remote Sales IT Support Technician and Admin, you will provide technical support and administrative assistance to our clients in Australia and New Zealand. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s IT systems while also engaging in sales activities to promote our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide remote technical support to clients for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot problems, diagnose technical faults, and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their IT support needs, provide updates on ongoing issues, and offer proactive solutions to enhance their IT infrastructure.
Sales Activities: Identify sales opportunities within the client base and actively promote our products and services. Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and close sales deals.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, technical issues, and solutions provided. Prepare regular reports on support activities, sales performance, and client feedback.
Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative tasks such as invoicing, billing, and contract management. I coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and resolutions to client issues.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices. Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, preferably in a remote or helpdesk environment.
Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Sales experience or willingness to learn and develop sales skills.
Proficiency in using remote support tools and CRM software.
Reliable internet connection and home office setup conducive to remote work.
Availability to work 40 hours per week during standard business hours in the Australian and New Zealand time zones.
