About Us: With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Platinum Property Agents is a leading Property Rental Agent based in the UK. We manage approximately 500 tenancies across 250 properties, providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants alike.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Rental Property Administrator to join our dynamic team. The role primarily involves supporting our lettings team by onboarding new properties and processing tenant applications. This is a crucial position that requires attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to specialised software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilise specialist software to record landlord details, generate property profiles, and upload compliance documentation
for new properties.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new properties, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded and
ready for advertising.
• Provide support to tenants throughout the application process, including assisting them in completing required
documentation.
• Handle property-related administrative tasks such as issuing questionnaires, ordering necessary certificates (EPC, Gas
Cert, etc.), and maintaining property listings.
• Manage tenant applications, including processing enquiries, scheduling viewings, and handling offers and feedback.
• Conduct thorough referencing checks on prospective tenants and liaise with landlords to obtain necessary approvals.
• Coordinate move-in procedures, including drafting tenancy agreements, arranging inventory checks, and facilitating key
collection.
• Oversee payment processes, including subscription fees, deposit registrations, and fund transfers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in a similar role within the property management or real estate industry.
• Familiarity with property management software.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the rental property market in the UK is advantageous.
Additional Information:
This is initially a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time, incorporating additional administrative functions.
