Our team is seeking a Research Associate to join us, offering you the chance to utilise your skills in conducting comprehensive research, analysing various data sources, and providing insights for product, strategy, and business decisions. You will also have the opportunity to utilise secondary research to support primary research and validate your findings, as appropriate.

As a member of our team, you’ll play a critical role at the crossroads of Product and New Business Initiatives, leveraging your expertise to provide timely, relevant data that empowers PMs and leadership to make impactful strategic decisions.
In this position, you’ll majorly impact our research methodologies, tool kit, and thought leadership in crucial digital fields like hospitality and e-Commerce. Your contributions will shape the way we conduct research and position ourselves as industry leaders.
As our inaugural full-time researcher, you’ll have the chance to broaden your expertise across diverse industries and collaborate with some of the most pioneering clients in the field.

This role is an individual contributor position, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on our project and business development initiatives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
– Producing compelling market reports for both internal and external audiences,
– Providing research and analysis support to project and leadership teams,
– Contributing to business development efforts through client research and competition mapping,
– Staying up-to-date on user and technology trends,
– Effectively communicating your findings through various written and verbal formats such as decks and whitepapers.

Your Background

– BA/MA from a reputable institution,
– 2-3 years of post-graduate experience, ideally in a consulting firm or journalism.
– The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing innovative work in a fast-paced business environment and will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders.
– Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a keen interest in product development, innovation, hospitality, and e-Commerce.
– Proficiency in modern research and presentation tools such as Clickup or other project management tools and Google Workspace apps is required.
– Finally, the candidate should be able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
