Research Specialist VA

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team and provide research support for a new podcast. As a Research Specialist, you will play a crucial role in gathering facts, stats, and relevant current news stories to enhance the content of each episode and bring it to life. Your research contributions will help us deliver insightful and engaging podcast episodes to our audience.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct thorough and accurate research on assigned podcast topics, gathering facts, stats, and current news stories from reliable sources.
•Verify the credibility and accuracy of information collected during research.
•Organize and manage research findings and sources efficiently for easy access and retrieval.
•Collaborate with the podcast host and production team to understand the specific research needs for each episode.
•Provide concise summaries and syntheses of complex information to support the development of podcast content.
•Stay updated on industry trends, current events, and new developments in the podcasting landscape.
•Communicate research findings effectively to the podcast host and production team.
•Meet research deadlines and deliver high-quality research materials promptly.
•Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.

Qualifications:
•Strong research skills with experience in conducting online research, fact-checking, and verifying the credibility of sources.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Resourcefulness in finding and analyzing relevant information from a variety of sources driven by healthy curiosity
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
•Proactive, creative problem solver
•Familiarity with the podcasting industry and an understanding of podcast content needs is a plus.
•Previous experience in research or a related field is preferred.
