About Me: I am an entrepreneur with a vision to build a thriving e-commerce business with a global footprint, specializing in importing products from Korea, Japan, and China to sell in the US, and exporting US products to emerging markets in Asia. As a solo founder, I am seeking a dedicated and resourceful Researcher and Analyst who can join me on this exciting journey.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct in-depth product and market research in Korea, Japan, China, and the US.
– Analyze market trends to identify profitable opportunities and potential pitfalls.
– Assist in liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
– Provide insights into ideal platforms for selling specific products and understanding customer preferences across these markets.
– Offer critical analysis of potential profit margins, and assist in forecasting and budgeting.
– Streamline operational processes and help in systematizing tasks for scalability.
– Engage in negotiations and manage communication with stakeholders, when necessary.
– Provide out-of-the-box suggestions and be ready to pivot strategies as the market dictates.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in product and market research, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
– Familiarity with Amazon FBA, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms.
– Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
– Proficiency in Korean (reading/speaking) is a plus but not mandatory.
– Ability to adapt and learn quickly, taking on varied tasks beyond the immediate job scope.
