We’re the fastest email newsletter creator app, and we provide everything individuals and teams need to create & send perfect email newsletters. We’ve built newsletters that have been seen by over 7 million people and growing.

Beyond our SaaS app, we also offer a specialized “Newsletter-as-a-Service” (NaaS) offering, where we take on the creative work of writing email newsletters for our clients’ audiences. By outsourcing their entire email efforts to us, we become a one-stop shop for email newsletter marketing.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Researcher & Content Writer to research, curate, and write content for our clients’ newsletters. You’ll be doing thorough research to find high-quality content on assigned topics, curate the best of it, and write out compelling summaries to engage audiences – including additional announcements, promotions, or news, as per each client’s unique requirements.

Our ideal hire has an exceptional grasp of written English, as well as an innate passion for research and writing.

You’ll be doing things like:
– Doing deep research to find novel, cutting-edge, high-quality content on a (really!) wide range of topics
– Curating the best of it to form a thematically-balanced, digest-style newsletter
– Writing out short 2-4 sentence descriptions to promote audience clicks
– Editing newsletters for readability, brand voice, and look & feel
– Managing newsletters for multiple clients in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment

Skills & Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has:
– Excellent written English communication that can take on different brand voices
– Voracious appetite for learning & research – you love to geek out about obscure topics
– Resourceful internet researching skills – you have a bag of tricks to find interesting information in the deepest corners of the web
– Efficiency and speed – you can ship content quickly
– Strong organizational skills – you stay on top of multiple projects at a time
– Reliability – you rise to the occasion and meet all deadlines, without exception
– Familiarity with AI-driven content creation tools – you know how to use ChatGPT and similar resources to enhance content creation and engagement.

Bonus if you also have:
– An academic research and/or journalism background
– Your own Substack or Medium page with examples of your writing work
– Copywriting experience
– Familiarity with email newsletters as a marketing channel
– Experience using modern remote tools like Slack and Box

Level: Intermediate (3-5 Years)
Education: Academic Research, Journalism and/or Marketing background – or relevant work experience
Full-time vs Part-time vs Project-based: Part-time (20 hours/week)
Working Hours: Flexible, with some overlap for meetings between 8AM-2PM PDT
