Position: Researcher/Sourcer (Virtual Assistant)

BGC Search, a leading recruitment firm specializing in placing accounting and finance professionals, is seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team as a Researcher/Sourcer.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in researching and identifying potential candidates and clients within our target geographic markets.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct in-depth research on LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms to build comprehensive lists of qualified candidates and clients within our target geographic markets.
– Assist the Senior Executive Recruiter in identifying candidates for new projects. Review candidates already in our portfolio and create new sourcing lists using LinkedIn Recruiter.
– Assist the Senior Executive Recruiter in running marketing and business development campaigns by working together to create targeted outreach lists using pre-existing prospects and building new prospect lists.
– Utilize advanced search techniques and Boolean operators to identify and assess prospects that fit the desired candidate and client profiles.
– Initiate targeted outreach to potential candidates and clients through LinkedIn, email, and other communication channels.
– Collaborate with the Senior Executive Recruiter to develop and refine outreach strategies to increase response rates.
– Analyze and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts, suggesting improvements and adjustments as necessary.
– Coordinate with the recruitment team to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively.
– Maintain accurate records of all communication and interactions with prospects.
-Contribute to the development and optimization of systems and processes for lead generation and candidate sourcing.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and emerging sourcing techniques.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably for a recruitment agency and highly preferred for a recruitment agency that places accounting and finance professionals.
– Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networking platforms for sourcing and research.
– Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to understand and align with the desired candidate and client profiles for accounting and finance roles.
– Strong analytical skills to assess outreach effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
– Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and think creatively.
– Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining effective communication with the team.
– Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Google Workspace (G Suite), project management software, CRM systems, and candidate engagement platforms.
– Familiarity with recruitment sourcing techniques and industry-specific terminology (training will be provided).
– Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and develop innovative strategies to engage potential candidates and clients.
– Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– A high sense of urgency is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with agency recruiting or working with other accounting and finance recruitment firms.
– Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and advanced LinkedIn search strategies.
– Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate relationship management (CRM) software.
– Previous experience in a similar researcher/sourcer role within the recruitment industry.
