COMPANY INFO AND JOB OVERVIEW
Progressive Urban Property Management (PUPM) is based in Cleveland, Ohio USA and manages residential rental properties for mostly out of state investors. We manage rental units as small as a condo to mid-size apartment buildings as large as 44 units. We are a full service property management company that manages tenants, collects rent, does rent enforcements (i.e. evictions), handles maintenance requests, leasing, property preservation, etc.
We do a lot of things. And we need your help!
You will work directly with our team.
Your main responsibilities include:
– Resolve non-maintenance related tenant issues through phone calls, emails, and system messages
– Track rent payments and highlight delinquent payments
– Collect rent from delinquent tenants
– Conduct lease renewals
– Communicate with tenants issues
– Assist with onboarding new tenants and inherited tenants
– Setup tenant and lease information in the Buildium system
– Provide guidance to tenants on how to submit maintenance requests
– Submit and coordinate communications with voucher programs
– Update property owners on rent collection, eviction status, and lease renewals
– Resolve basic property owner questions or concerns

Starting pay: $5/hour depending on experience
Paid US and Philippine holidays

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
– Honest
– Reliable
– Bachelor’s Degree
– Must be fluent in English (Position will be talking with a lot of tenants over the phone.)
– Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
– Must be able to problem solve
– Must have people skills to de-escalate situations with tenants
– Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
– Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
– Must have their own laptop
Nice to have:
– Some property management experience and home repair experience would be a plus
