Residential Architect with Project Management Skills

We are an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) design firm based in Orange County, CA. We prepare architectural and engineering plans for single-family residential projects. Most of our work is small ADUs.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Construction Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing residential buildings, draws site plans based on aerial imagery, draw floor plans/layout, electrical plans and structural framing plans. The ideal candidate shall have excellent project management skills, and fluency in English.
Responsibilities:
Designing and drafting plans for residential construction projects such as ADUs.
Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Managing project timelines, and resources effectively.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other professionals.
Presenting designs and progress reports to home owners.
Continuously updating knowledge of construction industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or engineering.
Proven experience in residential construction design.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Excellent project management abilities.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Benefits:
There will be a 5% raise every 6 months if performance is meet.
