The Retail Strategist is directly responsible for the ongoing secured purchase orders and buyer introductions relating to the Retail Service provided to our clients. This position is accountable for secured purchase orders and the initial outreach to both the Regional and Established Big-Box Retailers. In addition to the physical outreach and request for buyer meetings this position will also be indirectly involved in the growth and ongoing development of the retail positioning for each of the accounts that retain the service with TLK Fusion.

General Accountabilities:

? Each individual representative is expected to contribute to the organization’s success in securing purchase orders for our client.

? Brand Outreach: Ensures that all clients that retain the Retail Service are secured ongoing purchase orders and appropriately worked on throughout each cycle to ensure the accurate workflow and deliverables are being met per the assigned scheduling. Assignments will be shared prior to the beginning of each month.

? Helps define the positioning of all products intended to be moved into a retail environment and ensures that all needed collateral to support the outreach is collected or appropriately created by the client or TLK Fusion.

? Conducts outreach to retail buyers on behalf of the clients and is representing the products in a dynamic way that entices the initial interest in potential future purchase orders.

? Once outreach has been conducted and interest has been shown completes ALL necessary follow up and steps to secure a closing meeting.

? Once outreach has been conducted and interest has been shown, performs timely and accurate follow up with all retail leads. Proactively move the buyers towards decision.

? Works closely with the Director of Retail Relations to track open relationships, assists in the closing of the order, and communication with the client.

? Coordinates meetings, calls, and communication with all interested buyers*

? Is mindful of grammar and spelling in all activities that are forward facing and buyer related to accurately brand the client engaged.

? Has ongoing communication directly with TLK Fusion and engages them in the process.

? Must adhere to the tasks as they are assigned so proper client workflow is attended to weekly.

Job Requirements:

? Work the scheduled hours that is communicated to the staff via the staff schedule including proper documentation of all California or other state-required meal and rest periods, and mandated break requirements.

? Vendor and Client Communication: Must be a proficient writer that possesses the ability to articulate individual thought processes and clearly communicate via email in a professional and understandable manner. Update, monitor, and respond to all client communication daily. After hours responses are needed based on elevation of client concerns and will be paid appropriately. Actively communicates with the client to ensure proper updates and deliverables are met.

? Must adhere to the predefined number of interested buyers required by the client in each agreement where applicable.

? Accurately monitors workflow to ensure all clients are receiving the same level of service.

? Must adhere to the daily/monthly task planner as defined weekly by the operations leadership team.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

Must possess a deep understanding of the retail industry and sales process
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
