Job Description

The Revenue Manager / Price Strategist will oversee and optimize the revenue generation strategies for our portfolio of holiday homes and short-term rental properties. This role involves leveraging pricing software such as PriceLabs to implement dynamic pricing strategies, conducting market analysis, and ensuring that our properties achieve maximum profitability and occupancy rates.

Revenue Management:

Develop and execute revenue management strategies to maximize property revenues and occupancy rates.
Implement dynamic pricing models using PriceLabs to adjust rates based on market demand, seasonality, and competitor analysis.
Monitor and analyze property performance, identifying trends and opportunities for revenue growth.
Pricing Strategy:

Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive pricing and market trends.
Develop pricing strategies tailored to each property’s unique characteristics and market position.
Utilize smart pricing techniques to ensure optimal pricing for both peak and off-peak periods.
Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze historical data and future trends to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
Generate and present regular reports on revenue performance, market conditions, and pricing effectiveness.
Use data analytics to inform decision-making and refine pricing models.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with property managers and marketing teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
Communicate pricing strategies and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration and functionality of pricing software.
Software Utilization:

Expertly use PriceLabs software to manage pricing strategies and adjustments.
Stay updated on new features and updates in PriceLabs and other relevant software tools.
Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of pricing software.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in revenue management or pricing strategy within the holiday home or short-term rental industry.
Proficiency in PriceLabs or similar dynamic pricing software.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a related field.
Experience with other pricing software and revenue management tools.
Knowledge of market trends and dynamics in the holiday home and short-term rental industry.
Certification in revenue management or pricing strategy.
