Revit Software Designer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Kitchen and Laundry Designer with expertise in Revit software to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating efficient and innovative designs for commercial kitchens and laundry facilities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both design principles and technical proficiency in Revit software.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and clients to understand design requirements and project goals.
Participate in project planning, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Conceptual Design:

Generate creative and functional conceptual designs for commercial kitchens and laundry facilities, considering space utilization, workflow, and equipment placement.
Produce sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
Technical Proficiency:

Utilize Revit software to create detailed and accurate 3D models of commercial kitchen and laundry spaces.
Develop and manage Revit families, templates, and content libraries to streamline the design process.
Code Compliance:

Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to integrate kitchen and laundry designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
Client Interaction:

Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, incorporating feedback into design revisions.
Documentation:

Prepare comprehensive construction documentation, including detailed plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
Research and Innovation:

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in commercial kitchen and laundry facility design.
Proficiency in Revit software is essential; experience with AutoCAD and other design tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to commercial kitchen and laundry design.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
