Job Description
As a Video Editor at Iron Built Games, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual storytelling of our brand. You will be responsible for editing video content that highlights the excitement, competition, and human stories of our events. Your work will be featured in various media, including social media, promotional campaigns, and live event coverage.

Responsibilities
– Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. Material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project scope and requirements.
– Translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns.
– Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of all video content.
– Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements.
– Suggest or select music and incorporate feedback to enhance the final product.
– Maintain and organize digital files for all edited footage.
– Stay updated with evolving industry trends and tools.

Requirements
– Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
– Proficient in video editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
– Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong sense of timing and visual awareness.
– Creative mind and storytelling skills.
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
– Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is preferred.
