Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Enhancement: Utilise our in-house SEO update strategy to refine existing posts. This involves analysing SERPs, enhancing snippets, addressing ‘people also ask’ questions, and more.
2. Keyword Research: Understand the search intent of given keywords and craft relevant post outlines accordingly.
3. Content Creation: Draft high-quality blog articles by combining your unique writing skills with AI platforms like ChatGPT.
4. SEO Optimization: Use tools like SurferSEO to guarantee comprehensive on-page SEO and ensure that relevant keywords are integrated.
5. Guest Posts: Occasionally, assist in crafting guest articles for external websites.
6. Administration: I have a full time WordPress VA, however you may be asked to collaborate with the admin team regards managing content uploads, updates, and editing on WordPress.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Stellar English writing and communication skills.
– Demonstrable expertise in SEO writing.
– Familiarity with WordPress, Google Docs, and AI writing platforms.
– Prior experience writing for niche websites, especially in the digital marketing and travel arenas.
– An understanding of Generate Press Blocks or the WordPress Block Editor is a definite plus.
– Capability to provide samples of previous writings or articles.
– Availability to work Filipino daytime hours.
Commitments and Expectations:
– We’ve had an office in Clarke and have collaborated with Filipino team members for over a decade. You’re not just an employee; you’re family.
– We honour religious holidays and ensure you receive your 13th-month salary before Christmas.
– Salary will be credited to your bank account on the 13th & 27th of each month via Wise.
– Expect a 40-45 hour working week from Monday to Friday.
– In depth training will be given including access to SEO courses, writing, AI, etc as and when applicable.
– A minimum commitment of 2 years is expected from your end, given the in-depth training we’ll provide.
– We strictly prefer dedicated employees. Managing other jobs or outsourcing tasks related to this position is not permitted.
– While working remotely, an opportunity might arise for you to travel and work with us in Thailand for a month. So, having a passport is a significant advantage.

1. Covering Letter: Detail why you believe you’re the perfect fit for this role, ensuring you highlight your expertise and the value you’d bring. Also, mention your potential start date.
2. Samples of writing, blog posts, or published articles, ideally in the digital marketing or travel space.
3. Practical Test: If shortlisted, candidates will undergo a hands-on assessment. This will involve:
(i). Identifying the search intent for a specified keyword.
(ii). Crafting a detailed post outline based on this intent.
(iii). Writing a short article to gauge both research and composition abilities.
(iv). Reviewing an existing post, conducting research, and providing recommendations on how to enhance its overall value and relevance.
4. Interview: If further shortlisted, we’ll set up a face-to-face interview over Google Meet.
This is an exciting long term opportunity for the right candidate. The advertised salary is simply a starting rate. If you can prove yourself, we will review your salary every 6 months, giving incremental raises for the first 2 years, after which we will review annually.
