JOB OVERVIEW
You’ll be responsible for driving the recurring weekly and monthly processes for a portfolio of clients. This role will focus on WIP reporting, job costing, revenue recognition and supportive activities unique to the Construction industry.
You will be the key to ensuring clean client financials and partnering to develop our team’s accounting and finance infrastructure. (You will have a team working with you, this means, for the most part – data entry will be done by someone else. Your focus will be the higher level stuff – analyzing, reporting and digging into the meaning of data)
You will work with a small and growing team of awesome people. We’ll provide extensive training.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintaining high quality cost accounting work
Managing month close process ensuring all client bills and project costs are posted or accrued if work is in place and of material value
Managing project financial closeout along with the project team
Ensuring final contract amount and closeout documentation requirements have been met and agreed to by subcontractors prior to issuing final payments.
We primarily work with QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop.

PAY
$800-$1050/month for this full-time role.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
– Honest
– Reliable
– Confidentiality
– Fluent in English (verbal and written skills)
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
– At least 2 years of experience in the role
– Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP)
– Able to perform cost analysis procedures
– Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
– Familiarity working in Quickbooks Online & Quickbooks Desktop
– Strong proficiency with financial systems applications and MS Office, specifically Excel
– Type 50 WPM
Preferred:
– Experience with ClickUp

WORKING HOURS
Full time position (40 hours/week); 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm US Pacific Time + 4hours/day flexi time
