Rockstar Creative Video Editor

Looking for a Rockstar Video Editor to take raw UCG videos and cut and combine clips to make 1-3 minute long videos, add subtitles, etc for YouTube, Tiktok and Facebook ads. You must have the creativity to be able to tell a story, convey emotion and wow the viewer in your work. The video editor we are looking for must have a passion for visual design, love to create and have an eye for details that capture attention.

Here’s an overview of the day-to-day:

– Producing well edited content for social media campaigns in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for e-commerce brands and lead generation firms in various sectors.

– Visual storytelling through edits that paint a picture to viewers about the possibilities that our solutions can have on their lives.

– Actively participating in contributing creative ideas to our Creative Director.

– Delivering edits on time and on spec as required.

– Researching and implementing new creative best practices for our agency.

What experience should you have:

– You must be able to work during normal USA business hours to effectively be able to communicate with the rest of the team.

– Must have at least 3 years of recent video editing experience in a high production environment.

– A proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

– An understanding of key-framing to animate text, assets and transitions.

– Audio tuning and basic color-correction.

– Strong visual storytelling skills.

– An eye for what looks ‘right’ on social media.

– Able to self teach from Google and YouTube when you get stuck.

– Receptive to mentorship and self improvement.

– Experience as a camera operator would be ideal but not essential.

– Experience with Photoshop and Lightroom would be ideal but not essential.
